Thank you for the wonderful lesson. Learned a whole lot of new vocabulary words like wiki, blogs, podcasts, technocrati, and all kinds of other terms that seem quite intimidating yet we look forward to the challenges ahead. Thank you once again.

We learned about the various mediums/channels of media technology and how it can benefit our teaching aspirations. We breifly learned about blogs, wikis, podcasts, google maps etc.

Today I expanded my horizons in the world of educational communication possibilities.
Although I have used blogs, wikis, and podcasts for personal and entertainment purposes, I now have a little better grasp on their potential in the classroom.

We learned that there is a massive amount of information on the web that we did not know was out there. We also learned about what wikis, blogs, and podcasts are and how they are used for others to use on the internet. We both agree that these tools are useful in the classroom for creating cirriculum and enhancing student use of computers and technology.

In tonights lesson, we learned all about how to use the different features on google. We learned how to search for location with a given address, and how to examine the different pathways you can take while going on a road trip. We explored how to make our own google maps as well seeing it through a satellite image. We looked up definitions for different terms that we will be using throughout this course. We learned how to explore the different types of blogs, podcasts, and wikipedia.

we learned what a wiki, podcast, and blog are. What web 2.0 is. We learned podcast is like radio and it is different from other media because it is syndicated. Wikis are interactive web pages and blogs are like interactive journal entries. Annie, Nicole, Michele
